Trans-Nzoia:Bumper Harvest From Governor Natembeya's Free Certified Seed.

Trans-Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has premiered paradigm shift in the agriculture sector in Trans-Nzoia County, from subsistence farming to commercial farming self reliance. 
In his two years tenure in office, Trans-Nzoia County can be proud of massive improvement in agricultural production through scientific advisory and farm input efficiency. 
In an one on one discussion, Mary Wephukulu from Kwanza Sub-county applauded the program, saying it has acted as a game changer and contributed immensely on yield improvement a clear testimony from a beneficiary who seats in half an acre. 

Mbegu Initiative Programme is an annual program designated by Governor George Natembeya's administration to emancipate the small-scale farmers to realise their full potential in growing maize and proper cultivation culture.

Natembeya has been keen on eliminating exorbitant middlemen who are capitalising on innocent farmers to defraud them their produces at a throw-away price. Citing the prices will be determined based on demand for maize and not usual disposal of maize to meet basic needs, he further called for patience as the market price stabilizes

Trans-Nzoia County Union of nurses are under furry after the boardroom demands from the county leaked to the public who unleashed  on them. Speaking on Saturday Governor George Natembeya expounded on the issue of the nurses, citing the agreement made was based on the allocation which was made before the national government slushed counties allocations, making it difficult for the counties to honour the matters raised by nurses like salary increment.
