Trans-Nzoia County Assembly Clerk CPA Moses Lupao Declares Bid For Kwanza Constituency

Hon. Lupao, while acknowledging the free seed distribution programme spearheaded by Governor George Natembeya, noted that the initiative goes beyond simply providing food to the residents of Trans-Nzoia. According to him, the programme rekindles hope in the hearts of the people, assuring them of a better and more secure tomorrow.

He observed that such interventions demonstrate leadership that is responsive to the needs of the people, especially at a time when many households are grappling with the high cost of living and unpredictable farming seasons. By empowering farmers with seeds at the onset of the planting season, the county government is not only promoting food security but also restoring confidence among local farmers.

Hon. Lupao further stated that leadership must remain people-centered and focused on sustainable development rather than political rivalry. He emphasized that the role of leaders at different levels of government is complementary and not competitive, noting that cooperation between county and national leadership is essential in accelerating development across the region.
Looking ahead, Lupao revealed that once he assumes the parliamentary office, his priority will be to champion key development projects that directly impact the livelihoods of residents. Among his main focus areas will be improving the road network to enhance accessibility and trade, as well as strengthening the education sector to ensure that young people have better opportunities for the future.

The aspiring leader also reiterated his commitment to working closely with all stakeholders to push for policies and resources that will uplift the people of Kwanza Constituency.

Hon. Lupao now joins a growing list of aspirants seeking to represent Kwanza Constituency in Parliament. The race is gradually taking shape with notable contenders including Governor Natembeya’s Economic Advisor, Emmanuel Waswa, Bishop Mudenyo, Engineer Mukiri, among several other interested candidates who have expressed their desire to lead the constituency in the upcoming elections.
