Abnormal Demands By Trans-Nzoia Nurses Sparks Reaction.
Trans-Nzoia County Union of nurses are under furry after the boardroom demands from the county leaked to the public who unleashed on them.
Speaking on Saturday Governor George Natembeya expounded on the issue of the nurses, citing the agreement made was based on the allocation which was made before the national government slushed counties allocations, making it difficult for the counties to honour the matters raised by nurses like salary increment.
However, he hinted at matters within his purview, like enabling the working environment has already been sorted, and it's a subject beyond debate.
On job promotion. The governor said the promotion is a singular duty of the board and it's administratively impossible to promote and officer from Job group N to Q since the human resources scheme has categorically stipulated the regulations to be adhered to.
Finally, the governor expressed his disappointment on how professional workers would wish to source the efforts of politicians who are on record sabotaging progression efforts on the health system.
This comes days after the nurse Unionists met with Trans-Nzoia County Senator to broaden their scope of strike and funding model , which Senator Allan promised to fund them for the 8th September demonstrations.
