Outrageous Misbehavior: High-Ranking Government Officials Caught in Drunken Brawl, Exposing Abuse of Power and Disregard for Public Safety

In a shocking display of unbecoming conduct, Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha and National Assembly Deputy Chief of Staff Benson Milimo engaged in a violent altercation with a Ford Kenya youth league member, Derrick Musumba, over alcohol consumption at a popular joint in Kitale town.

Eyewitnesses recount that the incident unfolded when Derrick Musumba, a respected member of the Ford Kenya youth league, approached Ms. Nakhumicha seeking a share of her drink. This seemingly harmless gesture ignited an unwarranted and disproportionate response from Mr. Milimo, who ordered his entourage of bouncers to unleash a barrage of blows, kicks, slaps, and even kung-fu kicks upon the unsuspecting Derrick.

The relentless assault continued unabated, leaving Derrick Musumba unconscious and severely injured. Despite the Health CS's feeble attempts to intervene, the bouncers, acting on Mr. Milimo's instructions, remained deaf to her pleas.

This disgraceful act of violence has sparked widespread outrage among the general public, who are calling upon President William Ruto to take immediate action against the perpetrators. The blatant display of power and disregard for human dignity exhibited by Ms. Nakhumicha and Mr. Milimo cannot go unpunished.


According to reliable medical reports, Derrick Musumba sustained serious injuries, including potential partial blindness. The severity of his condition underscores the gravity of the assault and the reckless behavior of the assailants.


Despite repeated attempts to reach Ms. Nakhumicha for comment, she has remained elusive, refusing to engage with the media or address the public's concerns. This silence speaks volumes, reinforcing the perception of her complicity in this deplorable incident.

Meanwhile, the Ford Kenya Kitale branch has issued a scathing press release condemning the actions of Ms. Nakhumicha and Mr. Milimo, terming their behavior as "barbaric" and "unacceptable." The party has called for swift disciplinary action against the duo and a thorough investigation into the incident.

The Trans-Nzoia community is deeply troubled by this incident, which has tarnished the reputation of not only Ms. Nakhumicha and Mr. Milimo but also the government they represent.
