William Ruto Comes In Defence Of Rc Natembeya Over Mau Eviction
Yesterday deputy president William Ruto broke his prolonged silence over Mau eviction which was conducted by the government to conserve the forest.
Initially Mau eviction was hotly tagged along tribal and political line with, government officer being implicated in the eviction. In recent past Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago, and Elgeyo Marakwet senator kipchumba Murkomen casted aspersions on Regional commissioner George Natembeya, citing during the eviction it was only one community which was targeted.
Yesterday ,deputy president owned up to be among people who championed the eviction for natural conservation of the Mau forest, and implored the Narok residents to embrace tree planting and ensure all water catchment areas are protected
