Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny Aids Out Chavakali Student Over School Fees Constraint.
Cherangany constituency Mp Joshua Kutuny has been touched by the message by the student who was forced to Walk from Chavakali to Kakamega in such for school fees, in his message via his communication director Kutuny said
"The Office of Cherangany Mp Hon Joshua Kutuny has contacted Chevakali Boys High School over the issue of a student who had been sent home due to lack of school fees.
Linus Kiprop Kanda a form two student at Chavakali Boys High School comes from Benon Village in Chepsiro/Kiptoror Ward in my Constituency.
The school management as informed Office Of Cherangany Mp that the student has arrears of 45,000 and we are glad to inform his parents and the school that NG-CDF Cherangany has taken up to clear the school arrears so that he can resume back to classwork and achieve his goals in life.
We further request school management before sending students home for fees to always check with the parents first and the NG-CDF offices,like in case mentioned above the student was among those who will benefit from bursary kity with a cheque set to be issued.
Vetting process of Cherangany Bursary FY 2021/2022 was successfully done and cheques are expected to be out in a weeks time as earlier promised.
We are requesting the general public that if they got a case whereby a form one student is yet to be admitted to secondary school to visit our NG-CDF offices at Kachibora Office for further assistance.
We are further requesting various stakeholders to partner with our office in pulling together resources in ensuring that needy students are not stranded in there education journey.
Education remains our main priority and we will fund and find solutions to our level best, we also welcome all grievances to be channeled to our respective offices".
