The County Government of Trans Nzoia will begin distributing milk to all ECDE centers starting next term. Governor George Natembeya explained that the initial supplier, who had begun distribution earlier this year, lacked the capacity to meet the demand.  Governor Natembeya stated that out of the Ksh.70 million allocated for the program, the supplier only delivered milk worth Ksh.7 million, leaving Ksh.63 million unused. Speaking on Sunday at Kapkoi Primary School during this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations, the governor said his administration would continue providing free seeds to farmers until food stability is achieved. He also promised that all county roads will be graded and murramed.
